The kiln drying process is very important for the quality of further processing and for transformation the raw material into durable and nice product. We sort the material once again before drying following some very important rules in order to avoid banding and cracking during the process. We use softwood calibrated sticks to separate the rows of planks in each pallet. Then the material is kept within 60 – 90 days under the shelter until the humidity goes down to 30%. As soon as the timber humidity is less than 30%, we move the lot into the kiln.
